A Celebration of World Dance comes to the Peabody Auditorium on Friday, March 3rd!

 

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (February 13, 2017) – The Daytona Beach Symphony Society is proud to present A Celebration of World Dance with the Russian Seasons Dance Company, at Peabody Auditorium (600 Auditorium Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32118), on Friday, March 3rd, 7:00 pm.


A Celebration of World Dance
will take the audience on a journey of music and dance styles from across the globe, including the Can-Can Dance of France, the Tango of Argentina, the footwork of Irish Step Dancing, spectacular Broadway choreography, the athletic Hopak of Ukraine, Traditional dance from Japan, Folk dancing from Russia, the Gypsy dance from Hungary, Acrobatic freestyle, and more.

Artistic Director of the Russian Seasons, Mr. Nicolay Androsov, will be giving the free pre-concert talk, in the Auditorium at 6:00 pm.

The final performance of our 65th Season will be:

Wednesday, March 22, 2017  Nicola Benedetti, violin, with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra
