The Daytona Beach Symphony Society’s 2016-17 Season Subscriptions are now available!
DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (June 20, 2016) – The Daytona Beach Symphony Society’s 65th Season at the Peabody Auditorium (600 Auditorium Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32118) will be a celebration of the classical performing arts, with a spotlight on the stirring beauty of the violin!
From Opening Night with the Siberian Virtuosi and their 11 violinist, each a virtuoso in their own right, with a commanding stage presence and performing without the traditional restrictions of the seated ensemble, through performances by world renowned violinists, Sarah Chang, Ray Chen and Nicola Benedetti, featured with three of the world’s best orchestras.
The 2016-17 Season also includes the amazing Vienna Boys’ Choir, the most famous of operas, Carmen, and the Russian Seasons, who will present “A Celebration of World Dance” which will include the folk dances of the Ukraine, the passionate Flamenco of Spain, the Tangos of Argentina, the footwork of Irish dances, and spectacular Broadway choreography.

“And we encourage everyone to join us at the Free Pre-Performance Lecture Series, at Peabody Auditorium, which start one hour before each performance,” adds Tracy Marino, Director of Marketing and Development. “We further serve the community through the Youth Experiencing Symphony (YES!) Program, along with discounts for students, families, and Volusia County School employees. And, new in 2016-17, we are launching a single ticket discount for Active Military and Veterans, with I.D.”
For a savings of 20% off single ticket prices, Season Subscriptions range from $220-$380 per seat. They are exclusively available at the Symphony Society office by calling 386-253-2901.
Single tickets ($39-$68), will go on sale on August 1st and can be purchased in person at the Peabody
Auditorium Box Office, online at dbss.org or by calling 800-745-3000.
